Blackwater Music Festival is happening Aug. 21-23 at
Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park in Live Oak, Fl., with
Slightly Stoopid,
Stephen Marley,
Steel Pulse,
The Resolvers, Zoogma, Lucky Costello and more on the 3-day bill. Check out the

Yeah, it's hot out, but remember Spirit of the Suwannee has a gorgeous river beach, and the fest will bring in some water park features to keep everybody chill.

Advance weekend tickets are $140, and you can buy single day tickets for $65. ($30 for Thursday night)

In warm weather festies like this, festgrrl likes to have a "summer fire" -- which is a baby pool -- at the campsite. Throw a couple bags of ice in there and it's all good. And remember, the Suwannee looks dark, but it's spring-fed and sand-bottomed. Just lovely.
