Psychedelic jammer Colonel Bruce Hampton hits the Bradfordville Blues Club this Friday night. Tickets are $18 advanced and $20 at the door. Colonel Bruce always shows up with a stellar band, and they will take the stage at 10 pm.
One of the great things about living in Tallahassee is that we are blessed with great local musicians Belle and The Band, release their debut CD, "Fallen Angel," at The Mockingbird Friday night. Belle and the Band features some of the hardest-working musicians on the local Americana scene -- they all play in many bands, and they are all very talented, so this will be a fun show.
The show starts at 7, and it is free, but the musicians work for tips and if you sit at the bar, you need to buy a little of The Mockingbird's outstanding food. And it is seriously outstanding food. The first hour of the show (7-8) will be broadcast live on 106.1 FM.
